I’m having bit of time away from designing websites for a living.
It was my primary vocation for a decade or so and I decided that it was time for a sabbatical. I enjoyed the journey and it taught me a great deal but it all got a bit samey and so, in the interest of personal growth, I have decided to take a different path for a while.
Time to do some new things and learn new skills while I still can. I’ve got back into painting with oils, primarily landscapes. I have also got into carpentry and want try my hand at bricklaying, in short I want to build stuff. For now anyway.
With the web design I was so busy building other peoples websites I didn’t even have one myself for maybe 6 years so it’s quite nice just banging this out, with no deadlines and I’ll just let it evolve as and when, purely for personal edification.
