In White’s Directory of Leeds 1866 Addiman is listed as Barker Addiman Parkin, wood turner, Maude’s yard: h 11 Salop row but he is not in the trade section; in White’s Directory of Leeds 1870 he is listed as Barker Addyman Parker (sic) wood turner, Maude’s yd, East Street he is listed in the trade section but not starred to denote a bobbin turner; in Kelly’s Directory of the West Riding 1881 he is listed under Turners – Wood as Barker Addiman P Whitehall rd Leeds; In Kelly’s 1888 Directory he is Barker A.P. packing case maker, Grove mills, Grove street; & wood turner, 32 Bedford Place and under Wood Turners as Barker AP 32 Bedford Place; in Kelly’s 1893 he is Barker AP, wood turner, Meadow Lane saw mills Meadow Lane; in Kelly’s 1912 he is Barker Addiman P wood turner Great Wilson Street residence 32 Bedford Place.
