Doris married Louis Bastide (Uncle lou-lou) in 1928. She developed multiple sclerosis and he had to carry her and push her in her heavy wheelchair. He was an iron-moulder. He died in 1954 aged 49. Doris was very much the baby of the family and her sisters were heartbroken when she died.
